Neighbourhood Centre - HEYY - youth line run by youth for youth offering support and referrals Arrabon House - residence for young women providing life skills services to empower them with dignity, strength, and compassion - 416 537 7037 Concerned Kids - non-profit organization that uses interactive puppetry to educate kids and youth about social issues like Substance Abuse and Violence and Gangs Kids Mental Health - specialize in working with children and youth and offer professional mental health services at no charge. Parkdale Festival 2007
Third Annual Toronto Parkdale (Raising Youth Awareness) Festival 2007 Saturday August 25th., 2007 from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Masaryk-Cowan Park, Queen and Cowan. The goal of the day-long music and art festival is to generate interest in youth service organizations by providing a community-based event, "We really want to make this a fun interactive day for everyone, with the main focus on bringing awareness to what's available in the area for youth, along with providing a full day of great entertainment," said Bryen Dunn, festival innovator.
