Third Annual Toronto Parkdale (Raising Youth Awareness) Festival 2007 Saturday August 25th., 2007 from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Masaryk-Cowan Park, Queen and Cowan. The goal of the day-long music and art festival is to generate interest in youth service organizations by providing a community-based event, "We really want to make this a fun interactive day for everyone, with the main focus on bringing awareness to what's available in the area for youth, along with providing a full day of great entertainment," said Bryen Dunn, festival innovator.

Dance duo providing comedic relief intertwined with various other performing arts techniques

Theatrical performance with a mix of African Drumming and Bhangra dance

University of Toronto's CIUT-FM will be doing a Live-To-Air broadcast for the full duration of the Festival. Tune into 89.5 FM or 128.100.197.46:8002 on the internet if you are unable to attend, and hear all the performances and interviews with band members.

Neighbourhood Centre - HEYY - youth line run by youth for youth offering support and referrals
Arrabon House - residence for young women providing life skills services to empower them with dignity, strength, and compassion - 416 537 7037
Concerned Kids - non-profit organization that uses interactive puppetry to educate kids and youth about social issues like Substance Abuse and Violence and Gangs
